Studies show a grass lawn is water intensive and on average it require about 30 percent of a household’s water consumption. I will do one or more of the following actions in my yard or community to conserve water and improve habitat: plant indigenous plants, landscape with water-efficient plants, add mulching, replace a lawn, and/or use eco-friendly fertilizers.

Planted plants for pollinators (bees and birds). In addition, delayed weeding Oxalis (sour grass) as the bees were having the time of their lives!

Andrea Ammerman 4/30/2023 8:43 PMBusy busy busy. I've done a lot of gardening. Planting vegetables and flowers for pollinators. I also volunterred at the local food bank. Additionally, I watched a fascinating documentary about The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. -
