How has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?

I love the freedom of driving but recognize the convenience and energy efficiency of taking the bus or the train! Just requires more planning. In the last 10 years, I've slowly gone from 90% public transportation to 90% driving. But I do try to drive electric whenever possible so there's that.

Unfortunately, I live in a city where public transportation is poor so driving is how we get around. I love it when I travel to cities that I can get to my destination by public transportation.

I need to appreciate nature more, even when the weather outside isn't my favorite. Walks in the rain are still valuable, and better than not taking a walk.
