Instead of traveling by plane, I will find an alternative way to accomplish the goals of an upcoming trip (i.e. telepresence, vacation locally). As an example, a plane from New York to Los Angeles (~2,450 miles) generates about 65 tons of carbon dioxide.

Katie Anderson 4/14/2023 11:41 AMThe unseasonably warm weather has made it so easy to spend 20 minutes outside every day. Cold, and snow is expected again though. I'm preparing myself. Winter coat, hat and mittens are not put away :( -
Katie Anderson 4/04/2023 2:28 PMThere is nothing more important to human beings than air and water. Plants and trees help provide both oxygen and water filtration, and they are beautiful (bonus!). They are the reason I've joined this year's challenge.
