Sara Bowersox 4/21/2023 3:38 PMAh yes.....the zen action of picking up trash - with my KEENmates! Mindful & impactful. -
Sara Bowersox 4/18/2023 7:09 AMTaking time for a short walk during busy business travel. Helps to reset the brain! -
Sara Bowersox 4/17/2023 9:05 AMTraveling today. Something about air travel does not lend itself to mindfulness!!!!! -
Sara Bowersox 4/14/2023 11:27 AMWorking in the office impedes Eco Challenge progress! Did not check in, or complete my daily action. -
Sara Bowersox 4/12/2023 7:49 AMToo busy to be mindful???? It's my excuse for the day, but also the root of many global challenges. I can do better. -
Sara Bowersox 4/10/2023 7:18 PMI'm practicing "moving mindfulness"! I'm making my daily walk a time to focus on the wider world, appreciate the outdoors, and today, listen to the rain pelting the hood of my jacket! -
Sara Bowersox 4/09/2023 11:37 AMSpent time with PGE bills today. Electricity is the only traditional utility bill we have (well water, propane / wood heat). January rate increase is killing us! We need electricity to run well & cistern pumps, keep the lights on, and in winter a basement space heater. Up side is that monthly bill has steadily decreased over last 6 months. We have been making an effort - but can do more! -
Sara Bowersox 4/03/2023 10:45 AMRepairing my son's favorite wool sweater today. It came home from rowing spring training with a hole mid-chest (caught in rigging?). I have been practicing sweater repair & invested in an assortment of wool yarn / thread (thrifted, of course). Getting pretty good at "reweaving"!!! -
Sara Bowersox 4/03/2023 10:40 AMLate start for me, but the earth (& earth month) wait for no one! Big action for today is having a 1980's era fridge repaired. Repair will cost $250 - could replace with another (less) used fridge for not much more, but "fix first" is our motto.
