    I was surprised that kale was on the pesticide list as I find it to be one of the easiest things to grow in terms of pests (must be a small scale vs large scale thing)

      I agree! though I tend to get a fair amount of sluggies in my garden. I read a tip recently that you can crush up egg shells and sprinkle them on top of the soil around your kale as a nature defense against pests!

    made the conscious choice to pack lunch always so that I am eating less to go food that is often larger than the amount I would eat, usually has meat in it, plastic spoons, etc

    when I am burned out I feel like my level of care for things other than work goes down, so I do not have brain space to think about things like sustanability

    We have a few drop ceilings that I wanted to remove because they are ugly but it made me realize that they provide some benefits in insulation

    We try to do three veg dinners a week- soem with meat replacements like tofu but others with other high protein swap in like chick peas
