REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhy is it important to take care of pollinators? Do you have a favorite pollinator?
Katie Chinn 4/30/2023 7:53 PMPollinators help plants that bring us food and other resources so it is important to support them. I love Coneflowers and have them in multiple colors. The ones I planted today are pink. -

Katie Chinn 4/26/2023 7:18 PMI watched an extraordinary documentary called “Into the Fire” which chronicles a group of Yazidi women who work to clear land mines left by ISIS. The ISIS devastation is seem everywhere but the spirit and courage of those left behind is absolutely awe inspiring. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat did you watch, and what was the most important thing you learned in the documentaries you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of climate change and Earth Month?
Katie Chinn 4/25/2023 6:02 PMI watched Lost & Found which is an excellent documentary about a man reuniting lost loved ones at a refugee camp. They had fled Myanmar due to violence and ethnic cleansing. It was very powerful and showed the heart and resilience of people. I also watched The Lost Forest. It is about a group of scientists and explorers that travel to Mozambique to reach a forest no human has set foot on. Fascinating to see what they discovered in regards to new species, information about earth and the climate. -
