Today's weather was so confusing. We had sun for like 2 minutes... I'll still take whatever I can get :)
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health & Equity
What was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?

    Isabelle Ede's avatar
    Isabelle Ede 4/25/2023 11:08 AM
I was mindful today as I was on my way to school. I noticed very high water levels near houses and streets and became more conscious on how I could if my neighborhood needed me.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Climate & Ecosystems
What did you watch, and what was the most important thing you learned in the documentary(ies) you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of climate change and Earth Month?

    Isabelle Ede's avatar
    Isabelle Ede 4/25/2023 10:11 AM
This documentary was on the melting of the arctic ice. Narrated by David Attenborough, the one piece of information that stuck with me was the fact that that ice contains high levels of methane. If released, it was have the same effects on our planet as CO2 does, but four times stronger...
