REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Amber Enriquez 4/03/2023 1:16 PMWhen I spend too much time on screens and indoors, I feel a sense of loneliness and disconnect from the world. I notice this with my children too. The more time they spend outside playing with their friends in the neighborhood, the better their temperament is at home and in the evenings when we prepare to go to bed. I also notice an improvement in their school grades when they have been outside playing more! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsHow has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Amber Enriquez 4/03/2023 1:11 PMI have never lived in a city with a great metro or train system, but have always enjoyed learning how to navigate a new city's system when I travel to new places. If taking a train to work was an option, I am certain I would do it. It is a great way to catch up on work, read a book, or just take the time to relax- all while making a better choice for the environment. -
Amber Enriquez 4/03/2023 1:07 PMI'm excited to kick-off Earth Month with our ecochallenge, and to pick new goals for this year :)
