    My favorite pollinators are the honeybees. They are so important keep our veggie gardens, fruit trees, community gardens, and farms producing food to nourish us all.

    I planted an alder and a flowering red currant- both natives! I decided to try to naturescape my backyard. The beautification will bring me joy every time I look out my kitchen and dining room windows. Weeding and preparing the area to plant the trees was physically demanding since my backyard is a very steep hill.
