Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?
Hi Eco-challengers, From the captains of the 2023 Eco-challenge. We would like to thank everyone for being a part of this year's challenge. We hope you were able to come out with new ways to have a green approach and inspired to participate not only in next year's challenge, but in other volunteer activities as well.
The results of the challenge will be out soon. Thanks.
The Ecochallenge ends this next Sunday April 30th. I have enjoyed participating in this challenge beside you!
Currently, our Comerica California Ecochallenge Team is in the lead with an average of 202 points/person, followed by the Michigan team with 173 points/person, the Other Markets team with 161 points/person and the Texas team with 160 points/person. Let’s finish strong!
Note: Point totals were as of 10:30am ET on 4/24/23
I recently volunteered at Shred Day Houston, and it was a memorable experience to see how many people in the community that not only care to shred their information confidentially. It was a partnership with Houston Food Bank and many donated as well.
We are in the second week of the Ecochallenge. For those of you who haven't yet logged into the Ecochallenge to record your progress, I know that it can be difficult to find time in your busy day to check in to Ecochallenge, but it takes me less than 5 min most days to do my check-ins. If it's more convenient for you, you can login to the Ecochallenge dashboard from your phone (note- it’s a website, not an app).
The TX Market team is currently at 31 members, and from myself and Maria Vasquez we are happy for everyone who have joined so far and the new members to come. Here’s to a successful remaining couple of weeks of the challenge!
Chayn Frederick and Maria Vazquez, your Ecochallenge captains
Hi Team, We just initiated a friendly competition with Comerica Other Markets Ecochallenge Team. It went a little something like this! Staying active and checking in daily can take us far.
Spending more time outdoors helped me to discover that in Houston. We have a place called Memorial Park, and they recently built a new bridge and features to park which are pretty nice. Also, in an old neighborhood that I used to stay in built a skate park.
TO CELEBRATE OUR FIRST WEEK AND THE 28 MEMBERS IN OUR TEXAS TEAM SO FAR. HERE IS A PICTURE OF A TULIP PLANT THAT HAD ITS FIRST BLOOM IN MY FRONT YARD AFTER PLANTING !!!
I went under Manage Actions and chose the category basic needs and security and found out my family uses around 300 gallons of water a day . WOW !! Have any one else had a chance to calculate theirs?
I did mine last year - where I don't have low-flow, I went to my water supply line and turned it lower. Yikes - we take water for granted and it may become more valuable than oil in the not too distant future!
