Danielle's actions
Health & Equity
Spend Time Outside
SDG 3
I will replace 60 minute(s) per day typically spent inside (computer time, watching television, etc.) with quality time outside exercising, enjoying the sunrise/sunset, gardening, journaling, or practicing gratitude for nature.
Education & Livelihood
Work-Life Balance
SDG 8
During the workday, I will schedule time for daily breaks during work days to practice work-life balance.
Economy & Communities
Choose Clean/Renewable Energy
SDG 7
I will contact my energy company to find out how to sign up for my utility company's clean/renewable energy option.
Climate & Ecosystems
Create & Share A Love Letter, Poem, Song or Picture
SDG 14, 15
I will express my love and gratitude for our planet by writing a love letter, poem, song or taking a picture. I will share this in the Ecochallenge feed or on my social media.
Climate & Ecosystems
Support Local Pollinators
SDG 15
At least 30% of crops and 90% of flowering plants rely on pollinators to produce fruit. I will plant pollinator-friendly plants in my area to support local pollinators.

Watch a Documentary About Economy, Energy, or Industry
SDG 7, 9, 12
I will watch 8 documentaries about economy, energy, or industry.
Health & Equity

Danielle Griffin 4/28/2023 6:41 AMOur lady bugs and butterflies are doing well! “Rosie” the butterfly my 4 year old name is doing well too, hanging in there and we keep hoping will be able to fly at release date. Cayde has been motivating her telling her she can fly so sometimes positivity is the best medicine!-
Katie Chinn 4/29/2023 6:39 AMLove that! I bet “Rosie” will fly at some point due to Cayde’s awesome care and motivation. Kudos to Cayde and “Rosie”!

REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodHow does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
Danielle Griffin 4/27/2023 1:49 PMIt is very important for our well being to take lunch and mid day breaks to step back and rest to re-set your brain. Taking that time to step away and do something fun or relaxing helps you to come back to work with a fresh mind set. -
