What was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?

Today has been my first time doing a mindful meditation for a long time. And thanks to Ecochallenge for reminding me how simple and soothing it is.
I reflected on one negative emotion that I have been holding on to for the past few months, and I'm seeing myself letting it go slowly. Which makes me happy.
At the same time, I had a nice conversation with a family member today. During my meditation, I revisited this conversation and felt how lucky I am in this world for having such a good support system.
And thanks to myself for taking that 5 minutes of mindfulness to prolong this feeling of joy and warmth.
