REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Apurva Karne 4/20/2023 11:59 PMA culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens may face a variety of challenges related to physical and mental health, social interaction, creativity, and communication. It's important to find a balance between using technology as a tool to enhance our lives and engaging in activities that promote physical activity, social interaction, and creativity. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodHow does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
Apurva Karne 4/20/2023 11:45 PMPracticing work life balance improves physical and mental health, reducing stress and burnout, and increasing job satisfaction. It allows us to lead a more fulfilling life. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?
Apurva Karne 4/20/2023 11:26 PMMakes me grateful for my surroundings and also gives me the satisfaction of livelihood. We recently got a Cabana in our community park, it was nice as people could sit on the benches there to escape the scorching Sun! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWith 5-minute or less showers reducing your water footprint, what do you plan to add next to your water conservation habits?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityHow have you reduced your purchasing habits and what would you like to do next to reduce your consumption habits?
Apurva Karne 4/18/2023 3:15 AMWhenever I feel like I need(compulsive) to buy something, I wait for a few days (3-4 days). After that period of time if I still feel like I need that item and will use it for sure; only then I buy it. -
Apurva Karne 4/18/2023 3:12 AMI believe this is my small step for a bigger change in the environment we all wish to see. What better way to empower others than by sharing our positive deeds for this challenge?
