REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWhat was the most interesting thing you learned from analyzing your utility bill? What are some ways you can save energy and water?
Arielle Kinch 4/27/2023 7:50 AMOur utility bills are heavily influenced by the weather/seasons. Our light bill goes down in the summer and the heat bill goes up in the winter. It's constantly fluctuating. It's important to turn off lights when not using them or it's not necessary, and the same goes for water. -
Arielle Kinch 4/24/2023 11:54 AMYesterday the kids along with their parents in our subdivision got together to pick up trash along the paths and ponds for Earth Day weekend. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodWhat place in your region are you most excited to visit during your staycation?
Arielle Kinch 4/24/2023 11:51 AMWe are excited to visit the local petting zoos/farms, parks, as well as the community pool this summer. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat was surprising about the ingredients in your cleaning supplies, personal care, and pet products?
Arielle Kinch 4/22/2023 9:00 PMIt was nice to actually know for sure that there will be no harmful ingredients when making them myself. Saves money as well. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat was one of your most memorable volunteer experiences, and why? What would you like to volunteer for next, and why?
Arielle Kinch 4/21/2023 8:09 AMI used to walk dogs at my local animal shelter every week. It was such a fun and rewarding experience! I currently have 2 rescue pups. I would love to go back to the shelter to volunteer once my kids are a little older. They would love it! -

Arielle Kinch 4/14/2023 7:30 AMIt has been going very well! It has been nice to take a step back and focus on all things that I can actually do to be more eco friendly. Some of the topics of this eco challenge I never would have thought about before. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWhat was it like to mend your clothing? If you are skilled at mending, what tips do you have for others?
Arielle Kinch 4/12/2023 9:02 AMI am definitely not skilled at mending. However, I am able to fix just small holes with a needle and thread. Feels good to be able to wear them again and not just throw them away.
