    This weekend we redid our vegetable garden and created a fabric hose distribution system under the soil and homemade compost to assist in lowering the usage of water due to evaporation. We also replaced some additional plants with more drought tolerant cactus.

    Last night we watched A Plastic Ocean, supported the decision we made several years ago to focus more on reusable beverage cups no matter where we are.

    By continuously outsourcing from sustainable local companies, our seafood purchases have more thought now as to our impact on the ocean.

    Moved to Eco Smart thermostats so now we can control on our phones and waste less energy when we are not at home but still feel comfortable when coming back as we can reduce/increase prior to arrival.

    Today we helped clean up the trash on Mt. Charleston post snow melt, it was disappointing to see how much we collected this morning.
