REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWho is affected by water insecurity in your region? How are they affected? How are you impacted by water insecurity?
Prem Mani 4/24/2023 6:48 PMMost of the Lower Income groups and also many of the Middle-Income groups are affected by water insecurity. Leading to health issues and also fights between neighbors when the rationed water comes to the locality at a stipulated time. I have not yet been impacted yet, but at the same time we use water very carefully and follow many measures to ensure none of us in the family waste water, or use more than we absolutely need. -
Prem Mani 4/24/2023 9:28 AMDemand Organic Food from your market/Inquire and Invest in Real Organic. Yes, high-quality food costs a bit more, and unfortunately not everyone can afford it – but if you possibly can, even as part of your diet, consider what you may gain by maintaining optimal health. -
Prem Mani 4/23/2023 10:39 PMSupport Farmers directly through Farmer’s markets and CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture). Farmer’s market and CSAs have gained popularity across the United States. They allow easy access to fresh produce and help establish a personal relationship between the farmer and consumer. Find a Farmer’s market near you. -
