Hello All- This is Sangeetha, working as an senior underwriter in EA. I have tried to be environmentally conscious and self sufficient where I can and it all started with a deathly stare I got from my then 3yr old son (years ago) who was taught recycling in school and I did the grave mistake of putting my juice cartoon in the landfill rather than recycle bin. It later got paired with my interest in growing my own produce when and where I can of course the UK weather permitting. I started a FB group in 2000 to help spread the vision and help amateurs grow their own which has been a good motivation to me. Small efforts have accounted to a lot more savings in years personally and towards the environment. eg: We make our own cleaning products at home without harsh chemicals and use less plastic when it comes to toiletries by having the refill bottles for liquid soaps and shampoos. We try to do our little bits to contribute to the environment and I am big believer that 'the big ocean is created by small drops and every drop counts'. Really glad to join the challenge that will motivate me to do more to move in to the right direction.
