REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?
Catherine Martin 4/20/2023 7:17 AMI was reading poem this week and the final line was 'if i have spent time in the woods with you I must really love you' I loved this sentiment, outside is a wonderful space to connect with self and others. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhy do you donate food? How does it connect to your values?
Catherine Martin 4/12/2023 11:54 AMI donated this week to my neighborhood little food pantry via Teresa's amazon wishlist. Our neighbor organizes it in her front yard and it has become our community hub. Our elderly neighbors in the area use it along with people in need passing thru (we live right at our city's largest public park) This pantry is accessible to many underserved in the area. Feels good helping others with items we often take for granted. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?
Catherine Martin 4/12/2023 11:48 AMgrateful for the recent swing in weather. added this to my daily gratitude practice. in our windowless ops environments this needs to be a deliberate practice to get outside.
