    Carry my own bags instead of using the store bags and adding to the garbage. Try to use bio-degradable items or recycle things whenever possible.

    Buy vegetables that can be consumed in whole - certain vegetables can be used as a curry, seeds to make a cooling drink and skin for another dish.

    Use water when and where required. Avoid using RO purifiers which leads to a lot of wastage of water but instead resort to alternate options
