REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat was one of your most memorable volunteer experiences, and why? What would you like to volunteer for next, and why?
Samantha Meyer 4/28/2023 8:05 AMI enjoy volunteering at our food bank. I happen to often go on a morning when a group of children come to help pack food boxes. They are fun to work with. I would like to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity but need to find a way to make that happen with work schedule. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodWhat did you watch, and what was the most important thing you learned in the documentaries you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of climate change and Earth Month?
Samantha Meyer 4/10/2023 7:24 AM9to5: The Story of A Movement
This was a documentary about a women's movement that started with office workers and didn't really touch on climate change specifically. It was a good documentary and I learned more about women's struggles in the workforce and the work they had to put in to achieve better working conditions and pay. It is a good reminder about how recent in history that this specific struggle was.
