Whitney Mosteller 4/25/2023 6:12 AMThe small things add up! If we just make some small changes in our daily living, there can be large impacts.
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat surprised you about the two produce lists? How will you use these lists for your grocery shopping? Have you used these lists before?

REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat was one of your most memorable volunteer experiences, and why? What would you like to volunteer for next, and why?
Whitney Mosteller 4/25/2023 6:10 AMMy family does some community service activities with our church. These are always the most meaningful to see your family come together. I want us to continue to do these things with our daughter to teach her the importance of volunteering and giving back in all different ways.-
Claudia Ramirez 4/25/2023 8:46 PMIt feels good when you help the community and gift your time to families. Prior to Alliance I used to work for a nonprofit agency, I used to provide support and stability to families. The best part was seeing the families grow and seeing them happy. -
Katie Shonk 4/25/2023 10:34 AMChurch and Scouts are such great mechanisms for kids to learn service because it's not just about donating money but gifting your time. Our local United Way also has a board that can be filtered by age to match volunteers to projects.

Whitney Mosteller 4/14/2023 11:36 AMListened to a training presentation on Effective Communication. It made me pause and reflect on some habits I have with communication. Small changes and simple key words can make anyone a more effective communicator. -
Whitney Mosteller 4/13/2023 8:18 AMTaking the time to spend outside daily is just good for the soul! We spend so much time in our office, in our homes, on electronics. Setting the goal to remind myself to go outside has truly made me realize what I am missing when I dont take the time to do that! Vitamin D is the best! -
Whitney Mosteller 4/12/2023 8:23 AMThe challenge was initiated at work. I have chosen the activities that I are focused on balancing work and life, taking a break during the day, spending time outside and overall health.-
Jessica Jones 4/13/2023 12:54 PMWe want people performing at the peak - that is always a challenge when creating a scalable organization. Take the time to make sure this doesn't happen!
