WSP - Emerge Program

Spend 15 minutes learning about the Emerge Program at WSP. Emerge is WSP's strategic alliance program that seeks early-stage companies with novel solutions as strategic partners. Partners get access to in-house subject matter experts, an opportunity to pilot their products/technologies with WSP during the evaluation phase and have access to our client base. Besides going fully vegetarian, there isn't much more I can do until I have my own house (grey water, water barrel, xeriscape, solar). I also buy as much meat and produce from local ranches as possible, but this is limited to the summer. I would love to upgrade my washing machine soon, though.

Do you think YellowTin will be useful?

Unfortunately, it looks like YellowTin primarily focuses on homeowners who can change their homes. I cannot change my thermostat, appliances, etc. I can change my lightbulbs.

Through the carbon footprint calculator, I learned about Palm Oil which is not a topic I have been aware of; I will research that topic further. I cannot do much about the electricity/heating sources of my rental, but I can be more conscious of energy consumption. I will also walk to work more frequently now that we are coming out of winter.
