What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

It's really a scary thing to me. First the physical implications of what all the screen time is doing to our brains and our psyche. And then, just the sheer benefits of being outdoors and what we are missing. This culture does not interact well with each other and uses screen time and being indoors as their reason for missing out or not interacting at all.
