  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Basic Needs & Security
What surprised you about the two produce lists? How will you use these lists for your grocery shopping? Have you used these lists before?

    Parin Patel's avatar
    Parin Patel 4/30/2023 1:44 PM
What was most surprising about the list is that basically everything we eat was on Dirty Dozen List. This has not gotten to be more mindful on how I should clean my fruits and vegetables before putting them away in the fridge.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?

It recharges you by reducing stress and anxiety. And especially if it's a new place like the one we found today which was a pathway by the lake, it brought excitement because it was such calming area while listening to the water.

    Parin Patel 4/29/2023 6:43 PM
I watched Rotten on Netflix and it was an eye opening series as it showed various kinds of food production and how much waste is produced along with the dangers of eating if not properly regulated.

How has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?

    Parin Patel's avatar
    Parin Patel 4/28/2023 2:48 PM
When I was living in the northeast I primarily relied on mass transportation to get around as it was the easiest way that provided accessibility and less of a headache but when I moved from there and I can had to only rely on my car, it became more frustrating since I know had to deal with traffic and figuring out parking.
