REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat was surprising about the ingredients in your cleaning supplies, personal care, and pet products?
Keri Pepitone 4/07/2023 12:41 PMIt was basic ingredients I had in my kitchen already (white vinegar and baking soda) to make an oven cleaner without chemicals or in an aerosol can! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodHow does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
Keri Pepitone 4/07/2023 12:39 PMWork life balance is an important part of my every day. Managing work and being their for my team and being able to take care of my family is a priority. Having time to focus on life gives me the time and opportunity to also think and contribute to sustainability as I think about recycling and using more sustainable methods of cooking and cleaning instead of just doing what is 'fast' because I don't have time (i.e just throwing carboard in the garbage as opposed to taking time to flatten it, compile it, and put it out fir recycle each week). -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhy do you donate food? How does it connect to your values?
Keri Pepitone 4/07/2023 12:35 PMI donated pumpkin, sweet potato and canned food to the local animal shelter. I love animals and if I could take them all in I would, but the very least I can do is provide some tasty, healthy, treats and food to make their days in the shelter not as bad. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodWhat did you watch, and what was the most important thing you learned in the documentaries you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of climate change and Earth Month?
Keri Pepitone 4/07/2023 12:32 PMI watched 'An inconvenient Truth'. I have never seen it prior to this but it was interesting to watch how what they said would happen in the film by now, has not actually happened.
