For one thing, there will be less electricity used.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Education & Livelihood
How does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?

I think more clearly and plan for future needs with a balance. I do not have to purchase as much 'fast food' - such as take-out or things pre-made in containers. This way I cause less garbage in the environment. Others could do the same; purchase less take out or drive-through or one-time meals.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Economy & Communities
What was it like to create a readiness plan? Did you find other resources you could share?

I downloaded the free FEMA are you ready guide. We also have had thought of this before so that we know where we will meet in an emergency. We have older parents so we want to go there. We also have some non-electric appliances and tools in case we would be out of electricity for a time.
