Economy & Communities
Save Energy
Switch off tube lights and fans when not in use and minimize the usage of electricity during the day. Embrace natural sunlight and fresh air during the day. Minimize the usage of Air condition hours during nighttime.
Health & Equity
Donate Food
SDG 3, 10
I will find out what food programs are in my area and donate food and/or other items that they request.
Climate & Ecosystems
Gardening, Watering plants and trees.
Safeguarding the trees and plants in our surroundings is one of the major environmental protections which we can provide and act upon. Hence watering trees and plants in this scorching summer would save them.
Basic Needs & Security
Calculate Your Water Footprint
SDG 6
I will calculate my water footprint and look for a few ways I can reduce consumption or waste.
Climate & Ecosystems
Plant a Tree

REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat did you watch, and what was the most important thing you learned in the documentary(ies) you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of climate change and Earth Month?
Nithesh Kumar Ravi 4/06/2023 2:58 AMI watched a documentary called Chasing Ice. The way it showcased the urge of climate and global warming control is shocking. The glaciers calving was so catastrophic and poses a major threat. I learnt this is entirely due to increase in the temperature levels and emission of CFC's. In order to cope with this, we need to reduce the rise in temperature and that can only be done by planting more trees and leading a path for greener earth. #SaveTreesPlantSeeds
