"Crustacean Plantation advocating on behalf of the littlest ones without their own voice. Wild hermit crabs in the Florida Keys struggle to find proper homes due to the popular habit of tourists taking shells while on vacation. We hope that our story encourages all during their next ocean visit, to "take" the memory, and leave the shell. Who knows maybe the shell you found will become a lucky hermit crabs new home. Follow our story and habitat restoration efforts on Facebook or Instagram. We also accept shell donations to help house the wild hermits. "
