For today's work-life balance scheduled break, our office did a cookout/pitch-in! The vegetarian-only idea was vetoed, but there were fruits and veggies there for folks to try. Had my first blood orange today (tasted like an expensive regular orange).
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Climate & Ecosystems
What was your experience like plogging, or engaging in another way to collect litter while being outside? Was there any item you collected that was unusual that you found?

My friend and I took a walk during lunch today and found all kinds of strange thing on our office's road. There was a plastic flask covered in duct tape, lots of semi tire tread, and a rounded metal spring. Was nice to take a break, a walk, improve our road, and catch up with a friend.

Brought in a new creamer for office to try. This one is coconut cream based with functional mushroom extract. Concensus was glad to try something new, but this was a little too funky.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What was the dish you made, and how did it turn out? What did it feel like to try a new recipe? If you can share a picture, please do!

We're having an office cookout Friday, and I'm bringing some vegetarian options. Everyone else vetoed a wholly vegetarian potluck, but I bet they'll be willing to try some new side dishes :)
