Partners get access to in-house subject matter experts, an opportunity to pilot their products/technologies with WSP during the evaluation phase and have access to our client base. Emerge propels our partners by accelerating the product/technology adoption. Linn Stanley 4/30/2023 9:32 PMThis ecochallenge month went by too fast! I feel some regret that I chose some actions that I didn't manage to complete. My new personal goal is to do them anyway. Looking forward to the next event. :) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat are your thoughts on WSP partnering with smaller companies with the Emerge Program?
Linn Stanley 4/24/2023 8:25 AMI love this program. WSP's endorsement of these small companies will hopefully help spread the word about the amazing things they are doing. I've already been talking up one of them to some folks who are doing related work. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat was your experience like plogging, or engaging in another way to collect litter while being outside? Was there any item you collected that was unusual that you found?
Linn Stanley 4/10/2023 3:06 PMNow that I'm picking up trash while walking, I'm really noticing just how much trash is EVERYWHERE. This is something I plan to continue to do indefinitely. Thank you, EcoChallenge, for the nudge! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsDo you think YellowTin will be useful?
Linn Stanley 4/04/2023 1:48 PMI want to electrify aspects of my life, but struggle with the up front costs many of these changes would cost. I know that it makes sense financially in the long run, but the amounts of money overwhelm me and stress me out. I think I need to narrow my focus on trying to update some things over others. But how do I choose? Biggest bang for the buck? Biggest environmental impact? -
Linn Stanley 4/04/2023 9:05 AMThe Downtown Denver office moved to a new location and officially opened yesterday! I live within a couple of miles so hopped on my bike to check it out. It was an easy ride with protected bike lanes most of the way and I got my access card set up for Bike Barn storage. Two of my co-workers were also there, one took public transportation and then walked about 1/2 mile and the other arrived by e-bike. Felt pretty good about our combined efforts to avoid driving. :)
