  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Climate & Ecosystems
What is one way you will reduce your carbon footprint? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your carbon footprint?

This is something I consider in my everyday life. However, I would like to point out that the term Carbon Footprint was popularized in 2003 by BP. Take that how you will. I've linked an article to this, but the original is from the Guardian behind a paywall. It is good to take these individual actions, but we need collective action to mitigate climate change.

I already utilize the dishwasher properly for all my dish cleaning needs. All you need to do is scrape any solids and put it in the dishwasher as it is far more efficient than a faucet.

I joined this challenge because I believe combatting climate change is a collective effort not just an individual one.
