Climate & Ecosystems
TAKE PICTURES AND SHARE ON LINKEDIN
I will take at least one photograph that shows how sustainability / the energy transition already shows up in my daily life (e.g., electric vehicles, paper packaging…), and I will post it on LinkedIn with the hashtags #EarthMonthEcochallenge #EarthMonthAtEmerson.

Practice Mindfulness
SDG 3
I will spend 3 minutes each day practicing mindfulness.

I will replace 2 incandescent light bulb(s) with Energy Star-certified LED bulbs, saving up to $14 per fixture per year.

Ivy Yeoh 4/26/2023 5:17 PMReduce the usage of plastic stuff eg. bags by adapting new practice bring my own container to pack food at the food stall, use reusable container to pack my food to work, ensure I have my carry bag with me all the time when groceries shopping & always have my reusable drinking bottle with me. Practice separation of recycle stuff eg. paper or boxes, plastic etc. -

Ivy Yeoh 4/19/2023 9:49 PMKitchen aid : Homemade enzyme (ingredients brown sugar, orange or lemon peel, water - ratio 1:3:10) mix brown sugar in the water pour it in the plastic container then add orange skin and let it fermented for 3mths. At home, we use it to clean the dishes, as pesticides to chase away the pests on our homegrown vegetables and fruit. It's all natural which is safe to use and most of all environmental friendly! -
