I just took a 15 minute walk, it felt so nice just to be out of my office. I take the time to clear my head and in the course of my walk meet some fellow co-workers and say hi.

My little guy who shall not be named loves his You-tube video's and you have to almost stand on your head to get him to look up and notice that you would like to speak with him about something. He is so funny when he realizes that his siblings are outside playing on the trampoline that is the only time he gets off of You tube to go outside to play.

Let grow moe winter fat/wine-cup/western wild rose - a poem by Camille T. Dungy
so little open prairie left little waves of bluestem litle fuzzy tonque penstemon quieter the golden currant nodding oinion quieter now as well. only a few cluster of Colorado butterfly plant still yawn into the night, where there once was prairie a few remaining fireflies abstract themselves over roads and concrete paths. Prairie wants to stretch full out again and sigh - purple prairie clover priairie zinnia, prairie dropseed nodding into solidago bee balm brushing rabbitbrush - prairie wants prairie wants, prairie wants. This poem appears in her new book, Soil: the Story of a Black Mother's Garden. Her family wanted to return portions of their yard to a habitat that supports native plants.
