My family and I volunteered at the SUNY Adirondack Sustainability Commitee Canal Sweep at Feeder Canal Park in Queensbury.

I have completely turned the lawn in my backyard over to a mixture of creeping thyme and clover. It requires a lot less water and the pollinators love it!

With my agroecology and botany college classes, we grafted 6 heirloom apple varieties onto apple rootstocks to be planted later this year, and my Continuing Education class we grafted 20 new apple trees.
