I learnt that there are more ways to be eco-conscious than I had initially expected and choosing ones that best take into consideration areas that I would be able to help to my full capabilities.

Using The entire types of foods that include utilizing the skins was highly beneficial in terms of receiving high amounts of nutrients which are found in some skins of vegetables and other food group. There was also a high benefit in lower waste consumption which made groceries cheaper due to not frequently purchasing more.

We should do Earth year instead of Earth month.

I'm going to do a roadtrip to the Maritimes in an EV this summer. I have travelled to Africa, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and honestly, we have the same landscapes here in Canada, so to sometimes I ask myself why I have to get on a plane??

So I didn't actually write a petition myself, but I've asked 70 students to do so, and I'm impressed at what they've come up with - very cool initiatives for climate action. They will go out to elected officials (and a couple of JAC staff...) over the next week...

I watched some documentaries about doing citizen science by using iNaturalist to identify species. We're going to do a bioblitz on campus tomorrow, so I was reminding myself how to use the app and getting more familiar with the way everything works.
