    I do not have a favorite pollinator, they are all doing an important job. As David Attenborough was saying, you loose one insect you loose a plant. You loose a plan you loose the mammal, the bird, the insect that was feeding on it. We loose color and diversity.

    Thank you guys for your comments. During the COVID lockdown I have discovered the blessing of having a garden. It saves ones sanity and the sense of freedom. I wish humans could see this planet as their unique, wonderful, magical garden, and treat it as such. The alternative is living in a dump with fading memories of paradise.

    The new addition to my backyard garden are two avocado threes, one 1.5 m high, that will bear fruits in 5 years, and another younger seedling that with a bit of luck will bear fruits in 10 years. Next in line is a mini date palm. This will have to wait until the weather is more gardening friendly. Wey winter here in NZ.
